david krantz David Krantz
David Krantz graduated from Clemson University with a professional degree in Landscape Architecture and an emphasis in Planning. Upon graduation he moved to San Francisco with just a bike, a suitcase, and a vision of warm Californian weather. His bike has since been stolen and his vision is now clouded with fog. However, he does still have his suitcase which he now uses to transport tripods, lens cleaner, and other random pieces of film equipment. He currently works as a Land Planner at a large design office and is fascinated with the way people interact with space.

diana mangaser Diana Mangaser
Moved to Santa Barbara, California when she was very young and was raised an amphibian. She then attended the University of California, Berkeley and managed to escape Wurster with only first degree burns in architecture and a minor scrape in landscape. She now designs complete environments as a member of the planning team at a local firm. She enjoys painting watercolors and collage, as well as installing homemade bookshelves and deciphering instruction manuals. She also makes a mean spaghetti sauce. Diana one day aspires to return to academia, but is currently enthralled with exploring the sidewalks of San Francisco.

ian harris Ian Harris
Ian graduated with a degree in Architecture and a minor focus in Urban Planning from the University of Cincinnati. Since graduating Ian has journeyed to the Bay Area in search of gold and to test his academically ordained skills. Between panning and architecting he is continually exploring new passions. Through his extensive but short lived firm experiences he has been exposed to a full array of the built environment in architecture, landscape architecture and urban design. His non 9 to 5 passions currently are focused upon the medium of film and a documentary about the architectural thesis, Archiculture.

Melissa Scholte
Melissa's roots dive deep into the Bay Area. She currently lives in downtown San Francisco but has also lived in Berkeley and Oakland. She loves to paint and her current work is inspired by forgotten man-made structures that have been taken over by nature. She teaches private painting lessons and works full time doing marketing at a local design firm, where she also promotes art through an in-house rotating gallery. She received a BFA from San Francisco State University. Melissa is our Co-Curator of submissions, as well as the lead behind Cultivated's movement to support local organizations at the forefront of sustainable living and design.

Todd A. Steadman
Todd is a landscape architect, book author, lecturer, former Editor-in Chief and Publisher of Landscape Architecture, and a consistent advocate and active promoter of the virtues of the profession. He is currently serving as a design and planning consultant for Clemson University and is a member of both the staff and Board of the South Carolina Mayor's Institute whereby he assists towns grappling with issues of growth and sustainability. He is also Acting Director of the SC Botanical Garden, a 295-acre multifaceted facility that is host to the largest nature-based sculpture program in America. He periodically serves as an adjunct professor in Landscape Architecture at Clemson University. Dave Krantz is one of his former students. Most recently he co-founded the Alabama Green Building Resource Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the demystification and promotion of sustainable development. He also designed and engineered the closed-system green roof atop the building's headquarters.
